The Mystery of Black hole

Image
What is a BLACK HOLES ?  BLACK HOLES ARE points in space that are so dense they create deep gravity sinks. Beyond a certain region, not even light can escape the powerful tug of a black hole's gravity. And anything that ventures too close—be it star, planet, or spacecraft—will be stretched and compressed like putty in a theoretical process aptly known as spaghettification. Black Hole Types of black holes There are  four types of black holes :   stellar    intermediate   supermassive  miniature. The most commonly known way a black hole forms is by stellar death. As stars reach the ends of their lives, most will inflate, lose mass, and then cool to form  white dwarfs . The First Black Hole Albert Einstein first predicted the existence of black holes in 1916, with his general theory of relativity. The term "black hole" was coined many years later in 1967 by American astronomer John Wheeler. After decades of black...

The History of Pluto

Image
PLUTO  Pluto is a dwarf planet in the Kuiper belt, a ring of bodies beyond the orbit of Neptune.    It was the first and the largest Kuiper belt object to be discovered. Pluto was discovered by Clyde Tombaugh in 1930 and declared to be the ninth planet from the Sun. PLUTO Dwarf Planet A dwarf planet is a planetary-mass object that does not dominate its region of space and is not a satellite. Pluto is the most well known of the dwarf planets. Since its discovery in 1930 and until 2006, it had been classified as the ninth planet from the sun. There are five dwarf planet:- Ceres Pluto Eris Haumea Makemake Why Pluto is not a planet After reclassification in 2005, Pluto is no longer classified as a planet because Pluto's gravity has not cleared its orbit of other matter and therefore it no longer fits the modern definition of a planet. n August 2006 the International Astronomical Union (IAU) downgraded the status of Pluto to that of “dwarf planet.”At the time, there was...

Solar System And Our Earth

Image
Solar System  The solar system is made up of the sun and everything that orbits around it, including planets, moons, asteroids, comets and meteoroids. Back there were 9 planets in the solar system. But now there are only 8 planets in the solar system. These are the Eight planets in our Solar System :-  Mercury  Venus  Earth  Mars  Jupiter  Saturn  Uranus  Neptune Solar System  Our Earth  Earth is the third planet from Sun. It's the only planet known to have an atmosphere containing free oxygen, oceans of water on its surface and, of course, life. Earth is the fifth largest of the planets in the solar system. Earth
